This month is a very special occasion: Junoteam’s three-year anniversary! We are so thankful for the support of all of you over these three years, and are so psyched to continue bringing you high-quality apps, classes, design services, and design resources. We also have some all-new partnerships and projects that we are very excited to share with you!
As we celebrate this momentous occasion, we thought we would put out this article, which gives a birds-eye overview of everything Junoteam is, everything we have accomplished, and everything we are working to bring you in coming months.
Junoteam can be roughly described in three primary categories: Design Resources (design classes, raw files for icons and apps, and vector images for designers to use), Design Services (designing custom websites, apps, and illustrations), and Design Products (finished games, apps, and icons). Feel free to skip to the section below most relevant to your field of interest, or check all of them out — you might find something that surprises you!
DESIGN RESOURCES
At Junoteam, we very much want to support fellow developers/designers! If you are a designer, be sure to take a scroll through our Blog, which has lots of useful articles written for designers and aspiring designers. In addition, please make use of the many raw files from our apps and icons that we have available for free on our website so that you and other designers can download the files, see what they are like inside, and use components of them in your own work. Alongside our Blog and our raw files, we also have classes and entire resource websites. One of these, Vectorjungle, is brand new; and we are so excited for you all to start using it!
What is Junoclass?
Because we know that there are many talented and aspiring designers who are serious about breaking into the design industry but are not, for various reasons, able to attend a graphic design program at a traditional school or university, we have set up Junoclass. Junoclass gives students the opportunity to learn the basics of design without worrying about all the complexities and high costs that come along with traditional design programs. We hope that some of the people who do Junoclass may one day come back and be Junoteam team members!

What is Iconsgarden?
www.iconsgarden.com is a website for designers to sell their work, and for clients to find designers. Any designer can apply to use Iconsgarden! You just need to send us one initial icon of your design, for which we will pay you $5. In fact, every time you submit a free icon and we approve it, we will pay you $5! If your initial free icon is approved, you can also submit and sell Premium Icons. To keep our marketplace homogenous we ask that for your icon’s price you choose from four standard options ($5, $15, $25, or $35).
However, because we do not make designers sign any exclusivity agreements, we leave the choice of which of these prices up to you. We would not want to force you to price your icons in a range that does not match up with the prices on your own websites! We hope that these four prices are broad enough to include the range of prices that designers may already be using.
Sales on Iconsgarden are done as a typical 70/30 split — we promise to use our 30% wisely to make the Iconsgarden marketplace an even better place for designers to find clients, and for clients to find designers!
What is Vectorjungle?
Vectorjungle is one of our newest projects. It is not available quite yet, but it will be very soon. Oftentimes in the course of a design project, design artists have need of tasteful and attractive high-quality vector images.
There are several sites where such images can be procured, but oftentimes the images may not be of the quality the designer needs, or the designer may not be able to find a suitable image due to a lack of variety in the image results. We aim to fill this need with Vectorjungle, which will be a website filled with high-quality vector images for designers’ use in their projects. It will of course be free to use, with the option to become a premium subscriber.
The vector images available for users with free accounts will all be high-quality images, and the images available for premium subscribers will be of an even higher cut; for those big-budget projects or for when you truly need a wow factor.
DESIGN SERVICES
Junoteam offers design services for websites, apps, icons, and logos. We take pride in creating attractive, intuitive, high-quality images and UI in a very timely fashion. If there is anything about the finished product that you aren’t completely happy with, no problem! Many of our design service packages include revisions in the price, giving you some extra peace of mind. Plus, when we are done with your product, you get all the raw source files; allowing you to continue to fine tune your product down the road if the need arises.
DESIGN PRODUCTS
Along with providing resources to designers, and designing websites and apps for various companies and individuals, Junoteam has also produced quite a number of our own apps and mini games, many of them free to use.
Cupucolor is one of our newest apps, and one that we are particularly thrilled about!
Cupulor is an app for young children that provides entertainment and creative stimulation at the same time as it provides practice with vocabulary words and with a wide range of important skills. Any child is familiar with craft activities like coloring in coloring books, cutting out shapes, and putting together puzzles. Cupucolor combines these familiar activities in one portable game! In Cupucolor, children use their fingers to cut out, color in, and puzzle together a series of 160 cute, child-friendly pictures (such as a cartoon pig, cactus, or pudding cup). Once they complete each picture, a vocabulary word appears (for example, “octopus”). Cupucolor trains their coordination in an entirely different way! To cut out shapes in Cupucolor, a child follows a dotted line with their finger, honing their fine motor skills and exactness; skills that are increasingly important in a world that is becoming more and more digitally oriented.
While your child is drawing in Cupucolor, you can be drawing, coloring, and getting your Zen on in another Junoapps app, Colorgram. Junoapps is one of the only teams to replicate in app form the increasingly popular phenomenon of the adult coloring book! Colorgram brims with all sorts of line drawings, from intricate mandalas and pattern-based designs to modern images of animals, people, or scenery — all of them in black and white, ready to be filled with color. You can color with your fingers, or with a stylus — whatever feels the most relaxing! Junoapps has also worked on two other coloring apps, Color Matters and Drawing Desk. Color Matters is a similar concept to Colorgram, with lots of fun and beautiful images that both adults and older kids can find relaxation in adding hue to. Drawing Desk too has images to color, and also has additional drawing and painting functions if you would like to start with a blank canvas and free draw.
And lastly, of course, there are the Junoapps games, such as Funny Chicken Journey! Funny Chicken Journey is a free game app in which you must control the flight of a chicken to avoid dangers and obstacles on a variety of paths. Junoapps games are a great way to pass time standing in line at a store or event, or waiting for an appointment; and build coordination and fine motor skills too!
And that is the state of Junoteam on the occasion of our third anniversary, in July 2018!
